Ordering & the LMP model
How does LMP work, do you buy the item for me?
No. You order from the US store and pay them directly; you just enter our New Jersey warehouse as the shipping address. We receive it and ship it to Israel by sea.
Which stores can I buy from?
Any US store, Wayfair, Home Depot, RH, West Elm, Crate & Barrel, Lowe's, and more. If it ships to New Jersey, we can forward it.
Can I combine orders from several stores?
Yes, that's the point. We consolidate everything into one ocean shipment, which can cut costs significantly versus shipping each separately.
Can I shop through LMP directly?
That's coming: a connected account will pull your cart items in automatically. For now, paste a product link or upload your cart/receipt.
Getting a quote & pricing
How do I get a price?
Paste the product link, or upload your cart or receipt, we find each item's weight and dimensions and price it by CBM.
How is the price calculated?
Your estimate is based on the size (total volume) of your shipment, the more space it takes on the ship, the more it costs. On top of that, Israeli VAT (18%) applies to your order value, and customs duty applies only if your item is a taxed category. Both are shown as separate lines, never hidden.
What is CBM?
CBM (cubic meters) is the space your shipment takes on the ship, length × width × height. Ocean freight is priced by CBM, the standard measure for sea shipping.
Is the quote final?
It's an estimate. The final charge is set once we receive the item and confirm its measured size.
Customs, VAT & taxes (Israel)
Will I pay VAT?
Yes. Israel charges 18% VAT on the value of all items.
How is VAT calculated?
On the CIF value, goods + shipping + insurance (+ any duty), at 18%.
Does LMP handle customs?
Yes, we manage the import clearance and paperwork; taxes are settled on arrival.
Heads up on splitting orders
Multiple packages to the same person arriving close together can be combined by customs and taxed together.
Timing
How long does it take?
Sea freight is the affordable, slower lane, allow up to ~6 months door to door. We do not guarantee delivery dates.
Why so long?
Ocean transit + consolidation + Israeli customs. It's the trade off for large items at a fraction of air freight cost.
Tracking & delivery
Can I track my shipment?
Yes, track every stage in your LMP portal: received at warehouse → consolidated → on the water → Israeli customs → out for delivery.
Do you deliver to my home?
Yes, ground delivery from our Israeli hub to your door (this cost is separate from the sea freight estimate).
